I’ve been close friends with this little guy’s dad since the third grade. How old would that make us? Seven? Eight? I don’t even know but I do know that I wore a lot of No Fear and he had a bowl cut... We spent recess competing in foot races and I still won’t let him forget who beat who on Track & Field Day (all blues🤘🏼🥇). Fast forward 25ish years later and his wife is one of my closest, most trusted friend, his daughters and I have our own handshake and I’m his only son’s God momma. Who woulda thought that little tomboy Carli and that Sun-In haired little jock would still be buds after all these years? Life is weird and beautiful and hilarious and always seems to put you right where you need to be. Like kissing the head of THAT PERFECT BABY BOY. Trust life a little, she knows what she’s doing.
